Located at Kava Culture in Downtown Fort Myers, FL
The Spiritual Sunflower, founded by Erin Daugherty, will host a free community clothing swap event on Sunday, April 19th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kava Culture, located in Downtown Fort Myers. This clothing swap invites the local community to find new homes for clothing items they don't need anymore, refresh their closets, practice sustainable fashion choices, and give back to one another.
About the Event
Guests can expect:
- Bring lightly loved clothes that don't fit or aren't worn anymore, and exchange them for more suitable items for your closet from other members of the community
- Please ensure all clothing items are free of any holes, rips, stains, or any wear that affects the look and function of the item
- Sip botanical teas, connect with fellow swappers, and give old clothes a new purpose!
- Donations are also accepted to go towards future swaps and local non-profits
The intention behind this clothing swap is to reduce fashion waste, and keep clothing items circulating in the local community. Clothing swaps eliminate the financial and environmental stress from getting new clothes!
Swappers are encouraged to bring at least five to ten items to exchange for new-to-you items. Bring an extra bag to fill, in case you find more items that you love. Take what you need, leave behind what you don't!
The more people that join to swap, the more diverse the swap becomes. Don't be shy to invite your friends, and make a fun Sunday evening in Downtown Fort Myers out of it!
