Island Market: A Gathering of Local Artists, Creators, and Flowmies

Reflections

The Island Vibes Markets are hosted by the community, for the community. We all gather in the parking lot, set up stunning vendor displays, and dance the night away to a local DJ. It feels like freedom, peace, and unity all rolled into one evening. 

Attendees can sip on a botanical tea, browse local businesses, and pick up a new skill learning how to dance with hula hoops. 

This Island Market had the biggest flow circle yet! It was so much fun to share the joy of hooping with fellow community members, and teach beginner moves to all who wanted to learn. At one point we had over five people learning new tricks from Eden, and everyone walked away with a big smile on their face! We are so proud of everyone who gave hula hooping a try with us!

Island Markets are a safe space for everyone, and we all look out for one another. This environment is inclusive, sober, and has space for everyone to shine their brightest. All are welcome to come relax, engage with local businesses, and express themselves on the dance floor. 

These events would not be possible without all the work put in by the venue, vendors, DJs, flow artists, event hosts, and of course all of the amazing attendees. We only have two Island Markets left until we take a break for the summer, and we hope to see as many people as possible there!
