Journal Prompts for Financial Abundance
By Erin Daugherty
Money and finances can be a stressful and sensitive topic these days, but developing a healthy and loving relationship with money is still an essential part of the journey of growth and healing.
If you have a difficult time talking about money, journaling about money is a great place to start. There are many conversations that you can have with yourself, and books that you can read to help you develop financial skills and strategies, while improving your perspective and relationship with money.
Remember, your journal is your safe space to be raw, honest, and upfront with yourself. Open up about the reality of your life and your feelings, and also be open to receiving the insight about how to evolve, adapt and move forward. This insight can come internally through a higher power, or externally through resources, peers, and signs from the universe.
I recommend setting your space before beginning this journaling session. Maybe light a candle or some incense, turn on some calming, healing music, and get in a comfortable space with your journal and favorite pen.
The intention of these journaling prompts is to help you get clear on what financial abundance means and looks like to you, what is preventing you from experiencing true abundance, and how you can reasonably take action to get there.
-
What does financial freedom mean to me?
-
How do I envision my ideal financial future?
-
What current beliefs or habits are holding me back from experiencing financial abundance?
-
How can I align my spending with my goals and priorities?
-
What steps can I take now to increase my income?
-
How will achieving wealth positively impact my life?
I recommend giving at least three to ten minutes per question. Allow yourself to write down and process everything that comes to mind as you are reflecting on these prompts. This is not a time to hold back your authentic truth from yourself!
The purpose of these journal prompts is to assist you in having a clear perspective on what you need to do to achieve your goals of financial abundance.
Some changes and ultimately, sacrifices, that we need to make in order to accomplish our goals and achieve financial abundance can be daunting and challenging. You don’t have to make every single change at once. Start small, and take it one step and one change at a time. When you have big dreams, it helps to break things down into smaller steps.
I hope that this journaling session helped you get some clarity on your financial goals and what you can do to achieve them. You are worthy of living your happiest, most abundant life! The hard work and dedication is absolutely worth it.
Thank you for joining me in manifesting our dreams and healing together.
With love and light,
